How I use artificial intelligence, and how I do not. It is part of my job, so it seems fair to say.

Page under construction: I will fill it in bit by bit.

In research

AI is one of my research lines: explainable models to personalise rehabilitation, fatigue detection in virtual reality and analysis of teleconsultations with language models. In our papers, the design, experiments and conclusions are the team’s own; when an AI tool helps with writing or code, we disclose it as each journal requires.

In teaching

I teach Intelligent Systems and have given seminars to UCLM lecturers on using AI tools in teaching. I would rather teach students to use them critically than ban them: knowing when they help, when they are wrong and how to check.

The code of this site was written with the help of an AI coding assistant, and I reviewed it. The blog posts are written by me.
